NetClamp Documentation

Welcome. NetClamp is a per-app network firewall and bandwidth governor for Windows. These docs cover everything from a five-minute first run to the REST API behind the SPA.

If you’re new

Start with What is NetClamp for the framing, then walk through Getting started to install and create your first rule.

If you’re looking for a specific feature

The User guide has one page per screen in the SPA. Match what you see in the app to the page heading.

If you’re automating

CLI and REST API are stable surfaces. Everything the SPA does is reachable via either.

If something’s broken

Troubleshooting is the first stop. Bug reports go to the GitLab issue tracker.

About these docs

These pages are generated from AsciiDoc sources in the NetClamp repository at docs/product/src/. Spot a typo or an outdated screenshot? The "Edit on GitLab" link at the bottom of each page takes you straight to the source.

Documentation tracks the latest stable release. Older versions are preserved in git tags; check git log on the source file if you need a historical view.
